Understanding the evolutionary design of the shoulder {A simple way to learn anatomy}

So, as some of you may know, I am a law student and have not had any formal education on movement topics. What I know is due to learning, watching, experimenting and digging deep into my passions.

One of those passions is massage. I have always being interested in massage, but lately this has proven to be one of the biggest accelerators in my learning. By learning a lot about massage, I have being learning a lot about the human body, its anatomy and biomechanics. The good thing is this doesn’t carries the feeling of memory and hassle that this topics may normally present.

Want to see this in real time? See this video by Tom Myers, where he gives an amazing explanation of the shoulder that I think every mover (and human, actually) could benefit from. Today, I’ll let him do the talking.
